History

The Camp Classic Basketball Tournament started with Arnold Brown in 1994 until 1996 in Rosalia, Washington. The tourney had 8 high school boys teams and 8 high school girls teams per week for five weeks in the month of July each year.


                                       


In 2003, Arnold Brown returned to his alma mater, Medical Lake High School in Washington.  He took the job of Head Boys Basketball Coach where he restarted the Camp Classic Tournaments. From 2003-2004 the tourneys started with 8 high school boys and 8 high school girls teams per week for five weeks in the month of July. In 2004 -2005, the tournament grew to 16 high school boys and 16 high school girls teams per week for five weeks in the month of July.

                                                 
In 2005 the Medical Lake Boys Basketball Team won the schools first 2A Boys State Championship!!

From 2006-2010 the tournament has grown to 24 boys teams and 16 girls teams per week for five weeks in the month of July.

 In 2011 the tournament relocated to Spokane Valley, Washington.  We plan to have 24 high school boys teams and 16 high school girls teams per week for five weeks in the month of July this year.
